 | The IKK had a successful visit to the IKKU Scottish Open Knockdown tournament in Glasgow on Saturday 21st February 2015. We had four fighters in different categories. Senpai Aneta Meskauskiene was competing in the Ladies Openweight category where she lost by decision after 2 rounds. Seweryn Lesiak in his second tournament fought in the Novice Mens Heavyweights. As he did in his first time out he fought through to the final. This time though he had to settle for second place losing to Frederik Gade of Denmark. |
Wiktor Lesiak also in his second tournament fought through to the semi finals of the Novice Mens Middleweights category. He lost by decision to Blake Collins of England but won the 3rd place fight off giving him a well deserved 3rd place.
Also in the Novice Mens Middleweights was Johnathan Glennon in his third tournament. He fought his was through to the final where he came up against Blake Collins. The final was the best fight of the day going through rounds with Blake Collins emerging victorius leaving Johnathan with second place.
The IKKU who hosted the tournament also awarded Johnathan Glennon the Most Spirited fighter award.
