The week long Camp covered all aspects of Traditional Kyokushinkai Karate and culminated in a Karate Tournament for all on the Final day.  All participants had a fantastic time and learned new skills and met new friends.  Thanks goes out to guest instructors who visited and gave of their time and services to the Club.  Kyokushinkai is renowned for it’s full-contact form of fighting.  Training is open to male and female from 6yrs up to and including Adults. It is a practical Martial Art and some benefits include: Self-Protection, Health and Fitness and Confidence building.  The club meet twice weekly on Tuesday and Saturday at the local Parish Centre, Mullingar and new members are always welcome.

This years summer camp is set for the weekend of the 26th to 28th September 2014 in Mulranny Co.Westport. The venue is the 4 star Mulranny Park Hotel so the accommodation and food will be of the highest quality (please see their website for more information - http://www.mulrannyparkhotel.ie/)

The cost of the camp is €160.00 which is only a very slight increase on last summer camp and is reflective of the upmarket location. This includes accommodation, Food and training for the three days.

The camp will start with registration and lunch on the 26th between 13.00 and 14.00 at the hotel. We will finish after lunch on the 28th.

The Instructors will be Shihan Liam Keaveney 7th Dan and Shihan Kevin Callan 6th Dan.
