![]() Osu On Saturday 9th August 2014 the IKK held its latest knockdown squad training for its fighters. We had the usual mix of cadets, novices and experienced campaigners. It was great to see some new faces coming along to these sessions. The sessions were run by Sensei Shane Lalor. We had fighters from dojos all across Ireland. The morning session started with a comprehensive warm up and was followed by 80 minutes of sparring. We then had a break for lunch. During the second session we had a more technical focus. Areas covered included footwork, conditioning and block and counter drills. We finished off with some pad work and a good warm down. Many thanks to Galway dojo for hosting this session. The next Knockdown session is tentatively scheduled for September 6th in Mullingar Dojo from 11.00 - 13.00 and then again from 14.00 - 16.00. Cost €10. For further information please contact Sensei Shane Lalor (Details on the Contact Us page) Please see below for some pictures. Shane
