![]() On Saturday 29th March 2014 the Irish Karate Kyokushinkai held its annual Clicker Tournament in the Kingfisher Club in NUI Galway. As usual on the morning of the event there was a lot of work to be done including setting out the mat areas, tables, trophies, finalise and update the draws, posting the draws, referees meetings, table officials meetings etc etc. I could go on and on and on. Organising and running a tournament like this requires a committed team of people and this one was no exception. Thanks must go to all the coaches, parents and fighters for all of their hard work and commitment. The team of officials performed above and beyond the call of duty with very few breaks throughout the day. Thanks to Ken, James, Patrick, Nigel, Anthony, Dave, Ben and Alan. The table officials are equally deserving of thanks for keeping the fights running. Thanks to Eric, Paul, Mark, Bridget, Shauna, Emilia and anyone else who helped out. Thanks to our in house photographer Ian. Thanks as ever to Shihan Kevin who ensured it all ran smoothly and to Shane who helped him. Last thanks must go to Dave King and Louise Collins for their hard work that started long before everyone arrived and continued long after they left. At the end of a hard day of fighting we had our winners and the results are presented below. Osu Shane
