The first of this years national gradings is set for the 26th and 27th of June 2015. It will be held in Senpai Barteks Dojo in Gaelic Street Dublin on both days (http://www.kyokushinireland.com/north-strand.html). Please familiarise your selves with the location prior to coming to the grading.

Friday night from 19.00 – 21.00 is for Dan grade candidates only and Saturday from 11.00 – 17.00 is for all candidates including those going for 2nd and 1st Kyu as well as anyone else who wishes to come along and train. This is an open session for all students - cost is €10. Please bring Licence, Gi and Pads, Lunch and water.

All grading candidates must fill out and present the relevant medical form and present it on the day along with an up to date and complete IKK Licence, and the relevant fee. Dan Grade candidates must also present a complete Dan Grade form along with the appropriate fee and 2 passport photographs. Please distribute these forms as necessary. Candidates for Sandan must also include their own Kata in hard copy format.

Please send a scanned signed copy of the Dan Grade form to Sensei Shane Lalor by June 24th. (For club instructors who will be grading please forward the Grading form to me at least one week in advance of the grading so we can complete section C). In section A please fill in section A10 (length of Belt) I know this is in the Official use section but please fill it in anyway. Candidates for Dan Grade should also provide copies of Child Protection course attended and up to date First Aid Certificate.

I take this opportunity to remind all dojo instructors that it is your responsibility to ensure that IKK licences you issue to your students have a photograph and are signed by both you and the student.

Shane
