| Name: | Liam Keaveney |
| Grade: | 6th Dan Black Belt |
| Position: | President of Irish Karate Kyokushinkai |
| Favourite Kata: | Tensho |
| Favourite Technique: | I don't have a favourite but it would be any technique executed with 100% effort and 100% effect. |
| Best Advice Received: | Keep going no matter what. |
| Martial Arts Likes: | Diligence, humility, respect and perseverance. |
| Martial Arts Dislikes: | Incorrect attitude to training. |
| Best Martial Arts Memory: | There are many best memories very personal to me: First time I stepped into a dojo, my first grading, gaining my black belt, gaining my 5th Dan, being successful at my kumite test and many many more. But I think my best general memory would be attending the World Tournament in Japan and training there for a short while with Hanshi Arneil and all the Branch Chiefs under Sosai Oyama in 1987. |
