Following
on from our participation in the Severn Challenge in October
2005, Sensei Kevin Callan has decided to enter an IKK Squad for
the inaugral IFK World Junior Tournament to be held in
Switzerland on the 8th July 2006.
It is open to Juniors aged 12 to 15 (+364 Days) ie under 16.
There is a boys, Girls and team competition. We can enter 3 boys
and 3 girls. The team will be picked from these 6 and will be a
team of 5 with one Alternate. Standard Clicker rules apply.
Sensei Ken Fitzpatrick of Mullingar dojo is the clicker coach for
this prestigious tournament and will be holding squad sessions
each month. The first session will be in Mullingar Dojo on the
28th January 2006 from 14.00 to 1600 (cost €5.00) All dojo
Operators should come along with any students who are interested
in fighting and who fit the age criteria. Remember if someone
will be 12 before the day of the tournament and they want to
fight they should come along.
